In less depressing news, I found out today the paperwork has already been started on my permanent profile for my hearing loss. This is a golden ticket, of sorts, that will allow me an unarguable exit from the Infantry, and into a slightly less tough-guy, slightly more smart-guy job. So now, I’m back on the fence and trying to figure out what the Army has to offer me.

More than I can handle.
Started writing this a few times, and just kept erasing it. Guess I’m just not in the mood to write. I still have dozens of drafts over the last several months that have never made it onto paper … guess I’m just that bad at managing my time. Plus I’ve been pretty preoccupied with photography lately.
Meh.

I’ve been mostly distracted by photography lately. Photography and finding a good photolog solution. I know I’d already mentioned I found one, but I’ve now found a better one. Keep an eye on the same URL for nothin’ but photo goodness. Photos posted there will still show up in the thumbnail list in the third column here, and I will still post cell phone pictures directly to this blog, but the real camera photos will exist at the photolog location.
And … I have two naked kids to tend to. Peace out.
