After a particularly grumpy evening, I did something I’ve almost never done before - I closed the office door (and wall). The kids were already asleep so this was somewhat of an unnecessary gesture, but at the very least I had avoided being distracted by Friends.
After secluding myself I set to work on a project I’ve largely ignored for some time, but one I really need to be focusing on right now. Not a whole lot to say about the project just yet, but soon.
After I’d taken care of that, I headed straight to another project: theDaddyProject. Honestly I didn’t do much but add a new custom header image. I still have such big plans for tDP … maybe some day.
Why did those last two photos just show up? I posted them weeks ago, and they were … already here. Now, suddenly they’re back? Something wacky is going on here …

Ok, I’ve tweaked a whole lot (there’s always more to do, of course), and have found a pretty workable solution for the excessive photo posting thing. I’ve added a random image block above the latest post, and have added a link on the right under “Pages” that points to all of my photos.
Rad’s awake! Will finish this up later, but will publish for the sake of publishing.
Bottom line, easier gallery access and maybe I will still work on a more streamlined WordBlog and PhotoBlog.
For now, it’s playing outside time.

I’ve been tweaking the design here a bit lately, and I am noticing quite a lag in page load time. It would appear all the remote calls to flickr would be to blame, and I suppose that’s understandable, given the fact only five of the last thirty posts have had any textual content. I am considering splitting to a text-only and an image-only setup for more efficient usability.
Meh, we’ll see.
