The last two nights, Raden has been reading to me. He picks one of his favorite stories, The Old Woman and Her Pig, and is surprisingly accurate in his recitation. He knows the story, knows the pacing, knows the inflections - it’s awesome. I have got to get a video of it, it’s cute enough to make you vomit!

“But I already eated my oatmeal to be nice and strong like Daddy,” explained Raden.
“Well,” said Daddy, “I think maybe a few more bites and you should be ok. Why don’t you eat your oatmeal until Daddy’s done with his Chex, and you’ll be all done and super strong!”
“Uuuh, but Daddy, I’m already nice and strong like Popeye,” said Raden. “Popeye is in my living room … Popeye went with me to get the mailbox. Popeye is in our yard.”
“…” said Daddy.
