I nearly wrecked when I caught sight of this Olds Cutlass. She looks
almost *exactly* like the ’66 Cutlass I left behind in Fort Bragg so
many years ago — rust, primer and all.

Week 1 of beard growth: complete. Three weeks remain.

It’s been a busy summer and, before that, an easy eight months in Iraq. Surely I have things to say, and there’s no doubt I should be paying more attention to my web therapy, if not simply being more diligent in chronicling our goings on. (Not that I think many people actually care what goes on in my life, day to day, but I know my parents and my brothers and sisters do, so that ought to be enough motivation to keep writing.)

Long-time readers may recognize this as the occasional, rambling, nonsense, say-nothing post I write from time to time.

I guess it just feels good to type on my own keyboard again — perhaps I should fucos on content now?

I’ll stop rambling. It’s time to tighten my boot laces, pick my face up off the ground and start owning up to all this tough talk I’ve been spewing for so long.

Rad received an erector set for his fake birthday yesterday, and he chose for his first project: ROBOT!

Thanks, Price Busters, for being so awesome.

And that’s that. I have graduated — distinguished honor grad,
nonetheless.

With that, I have removed my infantry regimental affiliation, and
donned the quill and sword of Army public affairs.

I can no longer wear my blue cord or disks, but my combat
infantryman’s badge will stay on my chest always.
